iFlicks is able to create videos that can be played on all versions of the Apple TV. The best way to do this is to use Home Sharing, but AirPlay works as well.
The default presets in iFlicks also make sure that your Apple TV automatically chooses to play surround audio tracks, if it is capable of doing so.
Apple TV 3
- All videos created by iFlicks using the default presets can be played on the Apple TV 3.
Apple TV 2
- All videos created by iFlicks using the default presets can be played on the Apple TV 2. When using the iTunes compatible or HD 1080p presets it can occasionally happen that some scenes exceed the maximum bitrate for the Apple TV which can lead to artifacts, but this is a relatively uncommon occurrence.
Original Apple TV
- Most videos created by iFlicks can be played on the original Apple TV. To ensure your videos will be compatible, use the Apple TV preset.
